My name is Jessica Brown and I am founder and CEO of Modern Lux Events LLC. A little bit about me, I have a MBA with a focus in Entrepreneurship and I’ve spent the last 20 years working for some of the largest companies in the world. I spent most of the years in project/program management and technical support, which is where I have utilized and developed my skills of planning and problem solving. Outside of work I am a wife and mother to 4 children. With such a large family I’ve had plenty of opportunities to plan a party. I have always been the person to go ALL out for every event no matter how small, and there is no better feeling when you get to see the end results!
I decided to start Modern Lux Events LLC while planning my own wedding during the pandemic. I actually hired a Wedding Planner because I really wanted to enjoy the process but she was pregnant and could not attend. I ended up doing all the work including day of coordination. Everything turned out beautiful but I thought about how much better the experience would have been if I could’ve focused on enjoying the moments. That is what I want to give others, let us worry about details and execution.
Whether planning an event for a few dozen guests or several hundred, each one is customized to each client’s unique story and style. We specialize in personalization and want each event to have its own personal touch. We work tirelessly to make our clients feel at ease from the moment we start planning, this focus on service is what sets us apart.
My family thought I was insane when I started this business, however they quickly saw how passionate I am about serving others in this way. I’m truly at home when planning and creating beautiful things and spaces, and I feel so blessed to have such a supportive family.
